MTV's Jersey Shore Spawns an Asian Knock-Off

MTV's hit reality show "Jersey Shore" is most definitely gearing up for a second season, and after a successful first season it has already spawned a number of knock-offs. First we told you about the Russian show"Brighton Beach", and now we have word that there's a new reality show in the works aiming to feature Asian-Americans.

Koreatown will apparently be the site of a new, yet-to-be-named reality show, which will be the first Asian-American based reality show. Tyrese Gibson is reportedly co-producing the series.

According to a Craigslist posting, a production company is:

" looking for interesting, attractive, colorful Asian-Americans to cast in a reality show similar to JERSEY SHORE, REAL WORLD, THE HILLS, etc. We need attractive Asian-Americans with lively, strong, and unique personalities between the ages of 18 to 30 with equally interesting life stories and perspectives to share, especially individuals who know about and/or experienced the Koreatown life."
