Koreantown New Jersey Shore
When I first read about an ad on craiglist (of all sleazy places) for recruiting hopefuls in a spin-off MTV’s Jersey Shore.Model/Actor now show producer Tyrese Gibson confirm the rumor via Twiiter.
“Tyrese Gibson’s production company HQ Pictures is looking for interesting, attractive, colorful Asian-Americans to cast in a reality show similar to JERSEY SHORE, REAL WORLD, THE HILLS, etc.. We need beautiful Asian-Americans with lively, strong, and unique personalities between the ages of 18 to 30 with equally interesting life stories and perspectives to share, especially individuals who know about and/or experienced the Koreatown life.”
My guess you’ll be living in Korean town and you don’t have to be Asian but knowledgeable or have a curiosity. If anyone ever watched the Real World or Jersey Shore know the level of deprecatory this could bring from staring on these so-called reality shows.I find this all a little interesting on how Hollywood has grown an interest for Asian people and culture.Lets just hope they don’t degrade and embarrass those of this community. Shows like this follow a very distinctive formula.Find bitchy, drunken, and super horny people.Stuff them in a house with cameras constantly rolling and let the madness unfold.People are either gonna be screwing each other or mentally breaking each other down for our entertainment.Good luck to those who participate in this most likely I’ll be watching if this ever happens.
